Pay Per Click for Accountants

Ever wondered how Google makes all its money? Then welcome to paid for search - and particularly Google Adwords. Sometimes known as Pay Per Click, paid search is used by all the search engines; Yahoo, MSN as well as Google to enable you to buy your way to the top of the search engine results. Here's how it works.

You bid on a word or phrase (e.g. tax accountant London ). If your bid is high enough it will appear at the top of Google (or the other search engines) but you don't pay until someone clicks to visit your website - hence pay per click. Very straightforward so far but here's where realityhouse accountancy marketing steps in. Because we can track when someone clicks on a word, we can follow them through your website until they make an enquiry, apply for a training contract or sign up to your newsletters. This means we can tell you how much each enquiry costs.

For example, 10 people visit your website after clicking on your listing for the phrase "tax accountant London". It costs you £1 per click - a total of £10 - and two of those 10 people enquire about their prospective case. That one enquirry costs you £5.

This is called conversion tracking and it is how we will help you make sure that you are only ever spending money on search advertising that works for your business.
